Why I’m Dancing (and Probably Sweating Profusely) for a Miracle:
If you've ever seen me attempt to dance, you already know this is either a miracle in progress or a brave act of public service. Either way — I’m all in. I’ve joined Dancing for a Miracle not just to embarrass myself with jazz hands and questionable rhythm, but to help raise funds for the Children’s Health Foundation of Oklahoma, because kids deserve world-class care, courageous support, and maybe even a front-row seat to my questionable dance moves.
On a personal note… this cause hits close to home. I have an incredible son, Little Victor, with special needs who has shown more strength, bravery, and resilience than most people do in a lifetime. From the moment he entered the world, he’s been a fighter — enduring multiple open heart and other surgeries from infancy through his teen years. I’ve seen firsthand how vital compassionate, expert care is — not just for the child, but for the whole family. That’s why this isn't just about sequins and spotlights. It’s about showing up for every kid who needs a miracle in Oklahoma — and every parent praying for one.
So yes, I might not have the moves like Jagger… but I do have the heart of a parent, the soul of a (very determined) dancer, and the commitment to make a difference — one twirl, toe tap, and tumble at a time.
