I am privileged and grateful to have been invited to participate in the 12th Annual Dancing For A Miracle fundraising event to support Oklahoma’s Children's Hospital Foundation!  DFAM is a ‘Dancing With the Stars’ type of event in which I have been partnered with an amazing professional dancer, Meagan, to learn and perform a dance routine.  Meagan has taught me the Rumba and the East Coast Swing and we are working on a production based on the movie, Grease (one of my favorites)!!

 

Most importantly, Meagan and I seek to raise money for the Foundation – a very worthy and honorable organization that exists for Oklahoma's kids and 100% of the proceeds from DFAM stay in Oklahoma!!

 

Why am I doing this?  Most of you know that I LOVE to serve Oklahoma and I LOVE to dance – what better way to invest my time and treasure (and sweat and sore muscles)!!  Also, this is a personal opportunity to express my gratitude for and to honor my own remarkable and healthy kiddos, James and Kennedy.

 

Thankfully, to “win” DFAM we don’t have to be the best dancers; we have to raise the most money!  That’s where you come in … please consider donating and attending the DFAM gala.  DFAM will be on Saturday, August 17, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman.

Children's Hospital Foundation is a proud affiliate for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and is dedicated to providing funding for pediatric programs in research and education while serving every county in Oklahoma with more than 234,000 annual patient encounters.

All funds raised through Children's Hospital Foundation stay in Oklahoma so that our children will have exceptional pediatric specialists without having to leave the state.

All funds raised by participating dancers will count towards their efforts to become the 2019 Dancing for a Miracle Star!

100% of the donations will stay in Oklahoma through Children's Hospital Foundation.
