WELCOME to my Dancing For A Miracle Fundraising page and thank you for visiting.

Let me start out by telling you my heart behind this cause.  I've always hated hearing the word "cancer", but I've never hated hearing it more than a day when I was getting physical therapy. I had met the sweetest man (Jerry) through being a patient at Physical Therapy Central. Every day he walked in, he was so full of joy and always ready to brag about his grand children! (They were his pride and joy!) One day Jerry came in to PT devastated. Jerry's 2 year old granddaughter, Parker, had been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.  I ended up leaving physical therapy early that day.  I couldn't quit crying.  My heart was broken.  You see, I have a niece the same age as Parker.  I could not fathom getting this kind of news about my niece.  As I left there with tears streaming down my face that day, I heard the Lord say "would you trust me with Emmie (my niece)?" Okay, okay, I get it!! I had not even met sweet Parker, but I sent out text message after text message asking for prayer for this little fighter.  I followed updates through Facebook and through Jerry.  I watched her battle, I watched her on her hard days, I kept up with doctors visits, I felt like I was fighting this battle with her sweet family.  On January 12, 2015, Parker had a surgery in New York City to remove the tumor.  The surgeon was able to remove 100% of the tumor.  The cancer had been contained in the tumor and she has been cancer free since that day.  Parker is now a healthy little bundle of joy.  I realize not all kids are able to fight this horrible disease and not all are fortunate enough to be able to travel to New York to be operated on.  I hope you will join me in helping Oklahoma's sick and injured children. 100% of the funds raised will stay in Oklahoma to help our kids right here at home.
